EFNBE is an art–design gallery. Founded in 2013 by the Italian architect Federica Martinetto, it is a container of ideas for creative minds to collaborate on projects. EFNBE works with established artists, designers and photographers on the Australian market and with emerging ones helping them to achieve recognition in their artistic process. The company particularly specializes in art, design and fine art photography from Europe. Willing to break geographical and cultural barriers and limits, the aim is inspiring everyday life.
The gallery shows selected range of products such as limited edition design, art works and fine art photography, both on line and on specific sites. EFNBE has a constant turn over of works and products and attends different international art-design fairs and pop-ups, choosing the best-suited place for each project.
The curatorial projects specialise in exhibitions supporting and promoting the artists and offer an international touch and sensibility. The goal is to open a dialogue with contemporary artists and designers and to expose their research and production to the public. The aim is to keep the artistic research and cultural education open with exhibitions events, pop-up shows, workshopping and lectures.
Federica, thanks to her passion and great experience, brings a unique style to interior projects. Consulting and advising in the choice of high quality products and following client’s needs is the strategy followed for achieving wonderful results.
Federica Martinetto graduated at Polytechnic University of Turin in 2000 with a master degree in architecture. She lived in New York for one year, where she could expand her experience in interior design and get involved in the art scene working for the artist Giancarlo Impiglia.
Federica then moved to Paris in 2001 where she lived until to 2011. She works a few years as a project manager for Christian Biecher Architects, then in 2005 she started her own interior design business.
In 2010 Federica worked in collaboration with Terrenuages, the only agency in France to represent French designers and interior designers. In this period of time, Federica worked as representative for a mix of Italian and French design furniture brands to the Australian market and began working with some design editors.
In 2011 Federica moved to Sydney where she currently lives. She worked as a sales consultant at Space Furniture in Sydney for one year.
In 2012 she collaborated with Silvia Ariemma, co-curating the design exhibition “Wabi Sabi, Italian slow design”, which was presented at the Torino Design Week, Italy, in November 2012. Following its great success the exhibition was also featured in Milan at the Paola Colombari Gallery during the Salone del Mobile in April 2013. This was for Federica the start for a new career in curatorial projects and promoting artists and designers.
In July 2013 she founded EFNBE collaborative art and design.
